Spots's Story...
Hey everybody! My name is Spots and I am a 6-12 month old, black and white terrier/pit mix! Even though I don’t like being at the shelter very much, I can’t stop smiling because I just know there is a great family out there waiting to take me home! I’m very popular at ACCT with both dogs and humans because I am so sweet and adorable! I love attention, cuddling, and walks. I promise to be a well-behaved pup if you bring me home! I will be ready to go home as soon as you come get me since a great vet student at Penn has already spayed me! Please, please, pleaseeee come to ACCT to meet me today!

Act quickly to adopt Spots. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spots, a Philadelphia Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
