My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hi to Henny; her foster mom calls her "Chunky Monkey." But don't be fooled, Henny isn't overweight, she is just one solid girl, about 55-60lbs!

Henny is about 2-3 years old and is a super nice, mellow young lady. She loves to just lounge around the yard on a sunny day and is just as content to lounge around in her crate. She is crate trained and house trained.

Miss Henny is great with people, gentle and easy-going. She would be fine with kids, larger kids better as she is very solid and may accidentally bump over a toddler. She loves her meals and treats but foster mom doesn't allow too many so that she can keep her girlish figure.

Henny would be totally happy as an only dog. She is also fine with mellow male dogs, like her buddy, Tucker. She & Tucker love to play tug and she will play with her people as well. Our Henny also loves the water; she'll go right into the pond to cool off on a hot summer day.

Henny has completed a 6 week obedience class and she great. She loves going on car rides and is incredibly treat motivated. And she makes a great hiking companion; she is strong and has good endurance.

Henny did fantastic in that obedience class; she learned all her basic obedience commands. She is great on leash; best with a training collar as she has a strong prey drive so she really likes to chase after small, furry things.

Henny will happily keep all the little, furry critters out of your backyard! She should not be in a household with birds or cats or bunnies or anything similar.
