Audra's Info...

Audra's Story...
Audra is a beautiful creamy white Shepherd/Husky mix. About 45 pounds and 1 1/2 to 2 years old. A little bit thin, but attentive and active. She is a sweet, gentle girl and an easy walk.

An adoption fee is required which helps cover some of the care and veterinary services provided, including spay for females, neuter for males, vaccinations, de-worming and heartworm testing when age appropriate.

The adoption process begins with an application, which is a tool the Franklin County Humane Society uses to make a good forever home match. Contact sylviaam4@aol.com and we'll send you an application and/or answer any questions you might have.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Audra, a Metamora Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky for sale in Metamora, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky dog from a breeder in Metamora.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Metamora already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Metamora breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Husky rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Metamora paves the way for another one to be saved.
