My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Taken to the shelter by his family, who was crying when they dropped him off, as they had him for 4 years. Their place did not have a fence high enough to keep him in. They tried to find someone to keep him for them, but couldn’t. Thankfully Ben was intercepted prior to intake at the Coachella Valley Shelter. He is now under the guardianship of TAPS. We refer to him as Gentle Ben as it speaks volumes about who he truly is…a gentle giant…a gentleman….a gentle soul. He is good with kids, other dogs and he bonds quickly. At 4 years old this gorgeous German Shepherd had his spirits broken for a few days while he tried to figure out what was going on, but thanks to being saved from entering the shelter system, and being at a wonderful foster’s, his regality has returned and will continue to flourish once he gets into his forever loving home.
