Romeo's Story...
Mr. Romeo - Perfect name for a lover boy kitty cat!

He is a sweet young man, about 1 year old. Long bodied and slim, around 7lbs. He has a laid back personality and LOVES people! Being held and cuddled is his favorite thing to do. A TOTAL lap cat!

He is litter trained, house trained, great with dogs, and is good with other cats too!

Romeo's favorite toy is a "fishing rod" type toy... the kind that have feathers attached to the end of a string.

His markings are beautiful, the camera doesn't do him justice.

This loving and fun boy is available for adoption for a $125 fee after application screening.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Romeo, a Winston Salem Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Winston Salem, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Winston Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Winston Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Winston Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Winston Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
