Mr. Bocepous (we call him Bo for short) is a 2-3 year black lab mix, with a good medium size frame, weighing in at about 60lbs. He’s a very handsome guy that we believe may be mixed with shepherd. Bo is very loving and sweet and is pretty mild-mannered. Bocepous has mastered housetraining and overall, he has pretty good house manners. Bo is crate trained and although he does not require crating when no one is home, he still likes to go in it on his own to relax and take a nice nap. Bo knows some basic commands such as “sit” and will do very well in any kind of training class. Bo will need an owner that is an experienced dog owner who can keep up on his training and who will be a firm handler with him. Although Bo does well with other dogs, he can be bossy with his food and this is a behavior that his new family will need to continue to work with him. Bo can be very nervous of new situations and too much initial excitement so we recommend that he go to a family with older children. Bocepous walks well on a lead and would make a great running partner! This sweet guy really is a great dog and with the right guidance and someone to teach and guide him, he will build up his confidence and his true colors will shine! Mr. Bo is vetted, neutered, heartworm negative, current on all vaccines, microchipped and is on monthly heartworm and flea preventative.
