Louie's Story...
What is there to say about Louie?? Just look at his eyes! He is a doll! Louie was surrendered to us when his owner realized that she had no time for him. He was so matted that he had to be shaved down. He weighs under 10 pounds, loves everyone...loves sleeping in the bed. Louie gets along with cats and loves kids! He has a big personality in a compact body! Louie is in foster care in West TN but we use a great transport company that brings the dog to your area once an adoption is finalized. If you are looking for a great dog....Louie is your guy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Louie, a Hamburg Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Hamburg, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Hamburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hamburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hamburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hamburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
