Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Casper is a lively puppy, full of energy. He's smart and very easy to train, as he is food motivated. He knows sit, down, drop-it, come, and shake. I'm working on his leash training- he pulls, but whenever you stop- he comes to your side, sits, and waits for a treat or a pat on the head! He is very smart!
He is very good in his crate, and sleeps a lot. He plays hard, and then he likes to go and rest. Back at it again! He likes other dogs, and plays well. Recently at an adoption event he won the BEST LOOKING DOG AWARD out of all the dogs at the event! He stole the show!
He was returned to the rescue after a month with a family because they had him DNA tested and didn't like his results which state (indefinitely, as they are not always accurate) that he is: 25% German Shepherd, 25 % American Staffordshire Terrier and 50% some other undetermined lovely dog mix. The family returned him based solely on the results even though they had had no problems at all with him, said he was a wonderful dog and their children and Casper got along great.
We are determined to find the right home for him, and make sure his new family accepts him for who he is- his forever family. If this sounds like you, don't delay, put in your application today!
