Kodi's Story...
My name is Kodi and I am 5 yrs old. I am looking for a Buddy that loves long walks, hiking and taking me for car rides. My ideal home would be with adults only and me as the only fur kid. I am ok with other dog but I am a dominate boy by nature. Besides I am not interested in playing with them as I would rather be loving on my humans. I also need a home that is cat free since I am not so nice to them. I love playing with my squeaker toys, chewing on bones and laying on my dog bed. I have perfect house manners and can be trusted not to disturb any of your things while you are gone so no kennels for me. I know all my commands and can be a little bullheaded but that is normal for our breed. I would love an alpha leader that has gsd experience and wants a good companion to go out on adventures with. Can you consider me to be your best friend, I promise I will not let you down and give you years of happiness in return.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kodi, a Denver German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Denver, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
