found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
Gracie is a purebred Maltese who just finished caring for her litter of pups. She is now spayed and up-to-date on her vet care and is ready to start her new life. She has been in a loving foster home for a month and this is what they told us about her:
She's the greatest little dog I have ever met, and I feel very bonded to her. Even after everything she has been through she doesn't have a mean bone in her body, and she has the funniest personality. When I come home she greets me with so much excitement (and the silliest face). Although she comes off nervous and shy initially, all she really wants is someone to show her love. If she could she would have someone petting and rubbing her belly 24/7. She also loves to play with toys and can spend forever entertaining herself; running around, throwing her toys, and then pouncing on them like a puppy. She needs someone who is willing to give her time to earn their trust, because once you do she is the sweetest little dog.
If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application. Gracie's adoption fee is $400. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash and a month's worth of heartworm preventative.
With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both.
All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have one employee. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.
