Cash's Story...
Hi, my name is Cash and I love you! I know this because I love everyone and everything I come across. I was adopted from the SPCA by a wonderful woman…but she took me to play under a bridge one day and something urgent must have come up because she had to leave in a hurry and completely forgot to take me back home with her! Luckily some nice ladies found me and just couldn’t leave me behind. I got all clean & healthy and was taken to a great place while the nice ladies worked to find me a home of my own. While there I made some great friends and got to play a lot but didn’t always have food & water and sometimes didn’t get to see people for a few days at a time…and I LOVE people! One day the nice ladies came back & picked me up and took me to my current foster daddy who says I will never be neglected again…whatever that means!!

I love to play with other dogs and kids. I know my name and can SIT, SHAKE, LAY DOWN and COME HERE. I walk well on a leash (and love to go on walks)…I’m crate trained and fully house trained. My foster daddy says I’m a typical black lab who aims to please. I promise I will be right by your side and a part of everything you do for a lifetime. Can we go home now?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cash, a Houston Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Retriever (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
