Hi, my name is Tristen and I’m shopping for the perfect forever family. I’m a pretty mellow fellow but don’t mind a good game of fetch or chasing my buddies around the yard. I’m always up for a new adventure and love to go on long walks! I am crate trained and know how to sit…in my own cute way (only with my butt on your foot)! Being pretty young, I still get a little too excited when I meet new people, and can even be a little shy at first. But once I know you’re good people, we will get along just fine! You see, I had a home at one time but my owners dumped me in a neighborhood where everyone was mean to me…they hit me with sticks and threw rocks at me. But I didn’t know any better, had nowhere to go and just stuck around and took the abuse. Finally someone cared enough to get me out of there and show me that life is not so bad at all!
I had no idea there were such nice people in the world…so glad I didn’t give up on all humans based on the actions of those few!! After a rough stint at a dog sanctuary for several months, I have been cleaned up and taken to the vet and now I’m living the good life with my foster daddy…but now I’m ready to find a home and a family to call my own! I promise to give you my best every day…I’ll learn whatever tricks you want me to learn, I’ll watch the kids for you, I’ll do the dishes & laundry…whatever you like. I aim to please! Come meet me and you’ll see what a great companion I will be. Let’s go home!
