Uno Joe is a big galoot! He is like a big 4-year-old who just wants to have fun. Uno gets along great with people and dogs…you can actually see his face light up when he meets someone new, whether it’s a dog or a person. Uno was dumped under a bridge in Crosby where he was in such bad shape we were not sure if he was going to survive. His body was covered in sores & missing most of his hair due to mange and infection. He had scratched himself raw in many places and his face, feet & legs were so swollen it was hard to tell what kind of dog he was. It took a while to find him curled up in the bushes but as soon as he was found he sprung up with tail wagging and a smile on his face!
Uno has been through a lot of medical care and his skin has fully healed and most of the hair has grown back. The swelling is gone and we can now see the beautiful big blue pittie (maybe Cane Corso/Pittie mix?) that Uno is. This boy is something else! He’s wonderful on a leash and perfect in a crate. He knows how to SIT and LAY DOWN and he will come when you call him.
Uno prefers to be right by your side and will do best in an active home where he feels like he has a daily job to keep him busy. Everything is still pretty new to Uno and he is a real joy to train. He is eager to please, so training is a breeze and he will be your ideal pet in no time. Please give this beautiful boy a chance.
