Hi my name is Skye. Don’t let my size intimidate you, I know I’m a big guy but inside I’ve got the spirit of a puppy just wanting to be cuddled and loved. Even though life has been tough, my heart and soul are completely open.
I know that I’m one of the lucky ones making it out of the shelter before my number was up, unlike a lot of my friends☹ I’ve been told that having a brown eye and a blue eye are stunning. Well, I don’t know about all that but I must have been saved for a reason; I believe it is to share my gift of unconditional love and devotion to my future family.
As a young man having been around for about a year I’ve learned a lot. Some of the things I’ve learned are that having really good manners is key to you taking me home. So I’ve worked on that big time and have mastered going potty outside, sitting, lying down, getting in my bed, walking on a leash and riding in the car, which I LOVE! Just to name a few.
My biggest desires are to adore and hang out with you! I also enjoy playing with my stuffed animal friends and chewing on a rawhide. I also have a funny, goofy side to my personality that will keep you entertained. When my tummy is rubbed it makes me so happy, don’t be surprised if I give you a couple of kisses.
But don’t get me wrong, I like my alone time too. If you have to go out and run some errands or go to work, that is fine. That’s when I like to lie around and relax, don’t worry, I know to be a good boy.
My foster family says I’m a perfect dog. Wow! I must be doing something right! Maybe it’s my affection for taking walks with my 7 yr. little girl, 9 yr. old little boy and my friend Bella, a lab who is now like a sister.
I am ready to be the best friend, companion and snuggle bug you’ve ever known. All I ask is that you see me for my sweet true self and I will be loyal and love you forever!
