Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Prince William's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Prince William's Story...
Prince William (or Willy) is an 11 week old pure bred Doberman, who is amazing! He is loving, fun, loves the company of other dogs and is being socialised with kitties here too!
Now as you probably see, we as a rule do not have Traditional "NORMAL " pup's here, and Prince William is also a special boy

He was born with a defect in his hind leg that may require it to be amputated. The leg will not bend, and it is more of a hinderence than of any use right now. Thankfully dogs are not like people and have no vanity issues, so this will not affect his quality of life at all and he will be like a normal dog no worse for wear!

Once we are able to get the leg amputated or a good progress of therapy, he will be put up for adoption

Please note, with all of our critters, they only go to the best of LOVING homes Prince William CANNOT be used for guarding purposes or anything else which would put him at risk from being just a loving family member. You must also have breed knowledge.

Although his tail is docked already (not by us!) he also as part of the adoption agreement cannot have his ears cropped in this practice of cosmetic mutilations. He is beautiful just the way he was made

He will come to you UTD vaccines, neutered, parasite treatments, all health records transferred from our Vet to yours, in addition to the leg amputated or rehabilitated. If you wish to help towards his costs, please contact us for details!

UPDATE Sept.10/2007- Willy will be receiving Physiotherapy to try to save his leg!! Many thanks to S. Benoit and to Critter Jungle for caring so much about this special boy and for giving him a chance to possibly save his leg!

You may stil fill out an adoption application for Willy and we encourage you to email us to receive an application, however he will not be adopted out until treatments are complete or if not sucessful, amputation is complete.

Update September 18th 2007. Prince William is responding to physiotherapy VERY well! It is still too soon to know if we can save his leg from amputation, but things are looking good, so please keep your paws crossed for him. If interested in helping us towards his costs, please make a donation through paypal, or email us for other donation methods. THANK YOU!!

October 25th 2007- William's plight to save his leg continues as does his expenses for hydrotherapy, and physiotherapy. We are making great progress. However all this comes at big expenses..please help us help our Prince save his leg..he would really appreciate it!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prince William, a Curran Doberman Pinscher puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Curran, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher puppy from a breeder in Curran.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Curran already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Curran breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Curran paves the way for another one to be saved.
