Chandler's Story...
Hi there!  My name is Chandler and you know I am here to be one of your Friends!  I am a 7 year old Lab mix that is ready for some lovin'!  I am affectionate, friendly and great with other dogs.  In fact, I would love one for a roommate!  We would be sure to get into all sorts of hilarious antics and keep you laughing from week to week!  I am a smart boy who knows all of my basic commands and am very well mannered. Although I'm not great with kitties (too stinky!). You know I will always be there for you!  What do you think?  Want to give this nice boy a try?  Fill out an application at so we can schedule a meet and greet.  I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $200.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chandler, a Portland Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
