Ozzy's Story...
This is little Ozzy and he is irresistible. He is 8lbs and about 6 months old. We don't really know what breed he is, maybe maltese, poodle, schnauzer or a bit of all, but whatever it is he is "Stinkin' Cute". He is sweet, lovable and a ball of energy. He loves people and gets along great with other dogs after a short introduction. Ozzy just wants to be one of the gang and he will make a great buddy for a similarly energetic little or medium sized dog. He loves to roll around with others and play chase.

He is neutered and microchipped and his vaccinations are up to date. He is totally crate/area trained and we are working on the house training. If you are interested in meeting him please contact his foster mom at fudgiesmom2@aol.com or fill out an adoption application online at http://www.forgottendogs.org/adoption_application.html Thanks.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ozzy, a Houston Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Maltese/Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
