Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rottweilers hold a very special place in New Leasher's hearts. Our love for this big, fun breed was probably the reason we couldn't get Westley out of our minds. And when it was time for us to bring new dogs in to our fold, Westley was our man. Unfortunately, getting Westley out of his kennel at the Chicago Animal Care and Control Center wasn't as easy as we thought. The poor guy was terrified of what was waiting for him, but after some gentle coaxing, Westley found out what true freedom really meant! Now he's ready to find that perfect home to call his own.
Westley is 60lbs of love. Loyal and sweet, he is the dog that will follow his companion to the ends of the Earth. Put him on a leash and he's ready to go anywhere with a patient and kind owner. At two years old, Westley is trainable and his mellow energy makes him great for any kind of household. He has even shown to be a fan of his kind and would most likely be a good second dog.
Westley is looking for a home to rest his head, practice his obedience tricks, and enjoy some sun through the windows. Could you give our handsome rottie a second chance? Check out our adoption page for more information.
