Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Mica – German Sheppard/Husky Mix - REDUCED ADOPTION FEE FOR THIS PET
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Mica’s family is unable to care for her any longer and she is now in need of a new forever home.
Mica is a wonderful companion and family pet. She is calm and quiet in the home and loves to be with her people just hanging out watching tv or going for a nice leisurely walk around the neighbourhood. She is very loyal and loving and extremely obedient. She had been trained and socialized very well and has a repertoire of tricks she can do. She was raised with young children but we would love to see her in a home with older children that would enjoy playing with her.
Mica is very clean and well behaved in the home and has been left for up to 10 hours without any worries. She was raised in a home with cats and would be fine with a dog friendly feline. Due to her being attacked twice as a pup she is afraid of other dogs when she is first introduced but once she gets to know them she is fine and enjoys their company.
Mica has been exceptionally well trained, does not get up on furniture, and doesn't beg, will sit and wait for the okay before she eats, and walks well on a leash. She is very gentle even with small children and does not jump up on anyone. She is affectionate and loves to be petted and cuddled.
Mica is 9 years old and would make an excellent choice for a first time dog owner or for someone that would like a well behaved, laid back companion. She does not need a lot of exercise and does well with a leisurely walk each day and a little time out in the yard. She does need to be brushed regularly to keep her coat looking its best but overall is an easy to care for and low maintenance pet.
