Sophie's Story...
Sophie was rescued from a bad situation in Western Nebraska but she is a very happy-go-lucky girl and suffers no ill effects. She does have a wound on her back but it is nothing serious and will heal just fine. We are guessing Sophie to be about 4 months old and have given her a birth date of 5/11/13.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Columbus Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Columbus, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Columbus.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Columbus already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Columbus breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Columbus paves the way for another one to be saved.
