Mar's Story...
Mar is a black beauty and one of 4 kittens found during TNR of a feral colony. The Momma was trapped and spayed shortly after finding the kittens. She is shy and needs someone who can give her lots of attention. She is quiet and playful. Mar is a very loving kitten who would prefer a quieter home. She was fostered with some very energetic kittens and kind of got bowled over by their personalities. Although she is quiet and timid at first, she is very affectionate when you pick her up. She doesn't like a lot of commotion. She is a gentle kitten who would prefer gentle handling.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mar, a Warren Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warren, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
