My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Matilda! She is about 5 years old and weighs about 8 lbs. We believe she is a shih tzu/maltese mix. She lived in a car for the first 4 years of her life with a homeless couple. They didn't treat her very nicely & sometimes has a few trust issues, but is doing much better and if you go slowly with her she is your best buddy. We believe she would do best with a woman owner that has a fairly quiet lifestyle, but if your a couple she should adjust just fine.

She also has a cute head tilt & if you like a very cuddly girl and can provide a low stress environment for her, Matilda will be the sweetest cuddle bug ever. She is good at the groomer's and gets along great with other dogs. She is a special girl with some not-so-tough special needs (mostly understanding) and would love to get into her forever person's arms.
