My story

Hello everyone! My name is Mala and I’m a young, 1 and 1/2 year old, smaller Malamute with maybe some husky mixed in. My foster mom and other caring people removed me from a neglectful situation and boy was I glad! Now I’m living with my foster mom and her two other dogs and I like them all! My foster mom knows I need someone to spend more time with me than she can, so she is looking for a good home for me. I am very affectionate and love people and can be quite the talker! I am house and crate trained and walk well on leash with minimal pulling. I’ve been told I’m very smart and I really enjoy my other doggie companions in my foster home. I’ve met other dogs, even another foster malamute named Dewey and I liked him too! I have lots of energy and just love to play. I weigh about 55 lbs and am very lithe and athletic. I was pretty skinny when I was rescued, but I’ve gained weight and feel great now. I must admit I have a very beautiful thick black and white coat. I am spayed and up to date on all my vaccinations, de-wormed and have been given a clean bill of health. One of my favorite treats is green beans! With all these good qualities, how can you pass me up?
