  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 917
  • Hair: Medium
Cassie is an absolute love!! Within an hour after being put with a family she had never met, in a place she had never been to, Cassie was giving me hugs and kisses! She is one of the most affectionate kitties I have had the pleasure of fostering!

Cassie is a very well rounded kitty that knows kitties like to have fun with other kitties as well as their people. Cassie is a smart cat and loves playtime. This is a trait of Turkish Van's.

Speaking of Turkish Van's she also has the most unusual van markings, an orange tabby tail and ears, it's very pretty on her.

With the proper introduction, Cassie will be best friends with a cat friendly dog, or another cat. She would love to be in a home where she not only has people to love, but a friend to love and play with as well.

Cassie has no health issues is spayed and current on her vaccines.

About Southern Counties Rescue (Mission Viejo, CA)

About Our Rescue Group...

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group (+ a few dogs). We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Netuer/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low cost S/N clinics.
