You may meet and apply to adopt Phyllis at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in IRVINE. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Phyllis is a female Havanese mix puppy only 11 weeks old. She is round, chubby, snuggly, and totally adorable. She has beautiful brown, tan, and black marbled, soft, wavy curls that are non-shedding. She currently weighs 6 pounds and we estimate her adult weight to be between 16-20 pounds. Phyllis is a social butterfly and adores her people. She is eager to please and enjoys being included in daily family life. She is a merry participant, curious and intelligent. Phyllis is great with kids and loves attention and snuggling. She is a gentle pup and more on the mellow side. Phyllis enjoys playing silly games with other young dogs, but doesn't like anything too rough. She has a warm, loving heart and wiggles with joy when you cuddle her and show her affection. She is loyal to those she knows and will stick close to your side, coming easily and happily when you call her. She will romp around your feet in the yard, following you everywhere like a little duckling. Phyllis is puppy pad/paper trained and well on her way to learning good potty habits. She is an easy keeper and a true joy to have around. Phyllis was brought in stray to a very high kill shelter along with her brother, Richard (also posted). She is a healthy puppy and looking for her new forever home today!

Phyllis’s adoption donation is $400 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She will be SPAYED, and has been MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Phyllis is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Phyllis & Richard and is ready for her forever home.

You may meet and apply to adopt Phyllis at our ADOPTION EVENT on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 5th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in IRVINE located at 15333 Culver Dr., Irvine, CA 92604. adoptpetmatch@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PHYLLIS, a Newport Beach Havanese puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Havanese puppy from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese breeders who help with Havanese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
