Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Alexia and I am a 4 year old female maremma dog (born 10/21/2009). I am tall and weigh 70 lbs. I have been raised with humans and goats and am current with my shots and in excellent health. I have had some formal obedience training and am very easy on a leash. I am sweet and gentle but am a guard dog by nature. I want a female owner. I warm easily to females but distrust males and so it takes me awhile to accept them in my life. I think I make males nervous by my distrust of them. I currently live on a farm where I have lots of room to run and chase bunnies. I will also chase chickens and sometimes cats. I like to run. However, I do not play. I will not fetch a ball or stick for you. I am not fenced in and do not wonder to other's property. I like being with the goats but far prefer to be with humans. Most of the time I am free to roam around and come in the house at my leisure and I spend my evenings in the house with my family. If you fence me in it must be high enough that I can't jump over it and if you don't spend enough time with me I will dig a hole under to get to you. I am fine with other dogs and have been around a lot of children but I prefer teenagers/adults. I need a new home because there is just too many people coming in and out of the yard here and it is too disruptive when I bark at everyone.
