Apollo's Story...
Hey You!! I'm Apollo and I'm a happy and active fella searching for a new home. I was originally found as a stray in Cottonwood and have since been transferred here to SCCA. I absolutely love food but need a stress-free life outside of the shelter in order to gain and maintain weight. I need a home that can provide me with exercise and things to do to keep me busy! I always have a smile on my face!
The adoption fee for adult dogs from Second Chance is $110. Small breed dogs are $120. All animals from Second Chance are spayed/neutered, current on all vaccinations, and may be microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apollo, a Flagstaff American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Flagstaff, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Flagstaff.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Flagstaff already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Flagstaff breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Flagstaff paves the way for another one to be saved.
