Blitz's Story...
Blitz is a gorgeous male, purebred GSD, approximately 2 years of age, 78 lbs. He is very well-behaved on a lead, independent, obedient, medium energy. Blitz originally showed barrier protection at his cage door but has greatly improved and is more comfortable with strangers. He would benefit from an experienced German Shepherd owner who understands the intelligence of the breed. Blitz is a calm, friendly, and confident beauty.

Blitz is good with most other dogs. At this time, there is no history with cats. A fully-fenced yard is preferred. He is heartworm negative, dewormed, neutered, and micro-chipped. Adoption Fee: $325

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blitz, a Indianapolis German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
