Lily's Info...

I am already spayed, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lily's Story...
Lilly is a purebred Maltese rescued from a hotel room that was crammed with dogs and their puppies. She has been in a loving foster home for a month and is now ready for a home. Her foster family says "We would love for her to go to a home with an older couple or person who is home most of the time. Maybe even a stay at home mom with older children. She seems to like the company of our dogs and would do well with a canine companion. She has been a pure joy to have in our home and she will make some lucky family very happy. She is a young adult, probably around 3 years old.

If you are interested in adopting a dog, please fill out our dog adoption application. Our dog adoption fee is $400. Every dog we place is vaccinated, wormed, treated for ticks/fleas, and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. We send each dog home with a collar and leash and a month's worth of heartworm preventative.

With very few exceptions, dogs are happiest and the most well-behaved when they receive daily exercise and ongoing training, so we always prefer to place our dogs with families who are willing to make a commitment to both.

All adoption meetings are by appointment only as we only have one employee. Our manager or one of our volunteers will be happy to set up an appointment for you to come meet the pets, but please fill out the adoption application first.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Medfield Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maltese for sale in Medfield, or seeking a Maltese dog from a breeder in Medfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Medfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Medfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maltese breeders who help with Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Medfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
