Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Patas is located at the Jackson County Humane Society in Maquoketa, IA. He was saved from Death Row in Florida but is now having difficulty escaping the local shelter who saved him. Patas is in a high stress environment and not doing well with the inexperienced staff who he has managed to bully into fearing him. When forced to do something, e.g., trying to pull him into his kennel, he exhibits a growling response. Patas is not aggressive, but he does respond with aggression to handlers who are not confident. He has several pack pals who he gets along well with, but he is high energy and needs a special person to help him gain confidence and relax. He likes children, but their lack of predictability, his size, and his aggressive response pattern make the combination a bad idea. If you think you might be able to help Patas, please contact: Taylor at (319) 520 - 8140 / naturalcaninecoach@gmail.com
