Sony & Cher's Story...
Hi, We are siblings Sony and Cher. We love people and we love to play. If you have a toy on a string Sonny is a jumping machine! We spend a lot of time together. Are you looking for a fun loving pair of cats? If so, maybe we can get together.

We have waived the Veterinarian Reimbursement fee for Sony and Cher. We are just asking for a reasonable donation at the time of adoption.

Cat Nap Lodge is a small 501(c)(3) non profit cat rescue located between Battle Creek and Kalamazoo in Richland, MI.

All of our cats and kittens come from unsafe or unhealthy situations. We are not a shelter, we are a home. The cats and kittens in our care are treated and cared for as members of our family, until they have a family of their own.

At the time of adoption we require a $150 Veterinarian Reimbursement Fee.

Our Veterinarian Reimbursement Fee includes:

At least one exam
Feline aids/leukemia test
FVRCP vaccinations (age appropriate)
Rabies vaccination (age appropriate)
Spay/Neuter
Flea and parasite treatments (as needed)

For more information about our rescue see our website at catnaplodge.org, or our Facebook page at Facebook.com/CatNapLodge.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sony & Cher, a Richland Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Richland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richland paves the way for another one to be saved.
