Adam's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Adam's Story...
The first step in our adoption process is an application, which you can submit online at www.littlebitsrescue.org It does not obligate you in any way, but we do not arrange meetings or make telephone contact until we have one. This gorgeous boy was born March 2012 and is ready for a loving family of his own. Adam is extremely sweet, loving and loyal with “his people. However, it takes him a bit to warm up to strangers coming into his home. He gets along well with other dogs, and a fur sibling his own size or a little larger would be wonderful for him. He loves to run and play, so a securely fenced yard is a must. He is neutered, up to date on his immunizations, heartworm negative and on preventative. While generally we hesitate to say that a dog is totally house trained, Adam does very well when he has access to a doggie door. Because of his concern about strangers, he would do best in an active, adult only home without frequently visiting children. Adam’s adoption donation is negotiable to the right home. We do approve out of state adoptions, but you will need to be prepared to drive to his foster home in Crossville, Alabama (between Gadsden and Ft. Payne) or to Birmingham, Alabama to get him. We do not ship or transport our dogs. If you are interested in adopting this sweet baby, the first step is to submit an application@www.littlebitsrescue.org.

We do not place any dog in a home with "invisible" or underground fencing.

About Little Bits Rescue & Adoption

About Our Rescue Group...

Our mission is to rescue toy breed dogs (purebred and mixed) from local shelters or from owners wishing to surrender dogs. We provide all necessary vet care, including spay/neuter and vaccinations. We then place the dogs in new homes after an extensive screening process.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter. All our dogs are housed in our personal homes. For this reason, we do not arrange meetings until we have received a completed application.

Our Adoption Process...

The first step in our adoption process is an application. We also do reference checks, a personal phone interview with the applicant, and a home visit. Our adoptions require a legally binding contract. Our fees vary from dog to dog, but the average is $200.
