Sweeny is a very handsome and incredibly sweet, one-year-old, 48-pound, male black and white pit bull terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. Sweeny is wonderful with other dogs, but has not been cat-tested. His tail is always happily wagging. He is living in a foster home and is perfectly housebroken as well as crate-trained. Sweeny is great with people of all ages including children and has been fine with his foster mom’s six-year-old nephew. He does jump up a bit, but in a friendly playful manner. He really adores people and is extremely attentive. He knows the command sit and high-five; and takes treats gently from your fingers. Sweeny loves walks and car rides. He enjoys sleeping I bed with his humans if he’s allowed. Sweeny is very healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative.
