Poor Jersey is feeling the sadness in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, just like so many others in New Jersey. He thought he was staying with us temporarily after the storm, but his owner is now unable to take him back, so Jersey is looking for a fresh start in life. This incredibly handsome Belgian malinois is about 3 years old and ready for a new home. Jersey is not letting his current situation get him down and his beautiful smile never seems to fade. Jersey is an outgoing, friendly and personable boy with lots of love to give. It's hard not to love him, when he leans against you and looks up at you to pet him. He is energetic, young and playful, and would love an active family to take him on hikes and play lots of games of fetch with him. Jersey is well behaved and sits nicely when asked, and also waits patiently when it's his turn to go for a walk. It seems Jersey has not been socialized much with other animals, so he would prefer a home with no other animals.
