Theo - 24 Pounds's Story...
Hi! My name is Theo! I'm small an size and look like a minnie lab weighing in at the vet at 24 pounds. The vet thinks I am may be around two years old as I have a little tartar on my teeth so I won't be getting any bigger.. Since I came from a high kill animal shelter in Kentucky, no one quite knows what I am. Based on my good looks, they are guessing Beagle, Labrador Retriever mix. I came in with my brother

I love everyone I meet. I am in a foster home with three other dogs, an older child, and kitties. I love all dogs, all people, and all the kitties. Sometimes I might chase one of them though. I just love attention and love my peeps the most. I came in with my brother Trey and we are being fostered together. I don't really don't understand what a leash is and can use some help. I don't pull, I sometimes just stand still. If you are gone all day at work I am not the match for you as I won't like be kenneled all day long.

I don't life my leg when I pee, and I don't mark. My foster mom is working with me on my house training, and they say I'm doing very, very well. There's only one thing I'm missing in my life right now: my forever family. Could that be you? If you have room in your heart and your home for a pup like me, please fill at the application at www.angelsonwheels.org so we can meet! Can't wait!

PLEASE NOTE THAT BREED, AGE, AND SIZE AT MATURITY ARE ONLY GUESSES!

Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but gives you a head start with the adoption approval process. We do not schedule meet and greets until the application is approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. We are all volunteers and work as quickly as possible between jobs and friends, and we thank you in advance for your patience.

The foster home in Naperville is where you would go to meet this pooch with an approved application. You can find the canine adoption application at our website at www.angelsonwheels.org under the adoptions tab of the website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Theo - 24 Pounds, a Naperville Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Beagle/Labrador Retriever for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Beagle/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Beagle/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Beagle/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
