UPDATE!! Pongo is in a foster home! Freckles has been adopted!


Four of our "Freedom Six" are beginning to SLOWLY adapt to life with experienced dog handling homes, but 2 are not. Freckles and Pongo are the most feral and the most needy! They will need alot of specialized nurturing to bring them around. Thus, little 1 yr old Freckles and 2.5 yr old Pongo need to find a foster home with dog handling or training experience that can properly work with them and help them become adoptable. Otherwise poor scared Freckles and sweet loving (when caught) Pongo who want love so bad and want to trust to bad but is so scared of everything.. will live their lives here at the kennels scared, untouched by humans and running all the time. It is very sad. Please if you know of any experienced homes or handler who can provide a quiet stable foster home for this little 1 yr old AKC registered beauty and his 2.5 yr old AKC registered Dad, let them know about Freckles and Pongo's life changing need. Unfortunately the rescue is NOT set up to handle feral dogs and kennel life with NO human contact is only making them worse until they will never be adoptable. ;-(
