My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! My name is Pumpkin. I have such a beautiful, golden coat, but even a vet said the best guess as to my primary breed would be just that – a guess. The vet said possibly a smooth coated Collie. I was found hanging around a Pizza Hut, staying in the parking lot or roaming the nearby neighborhood. A nice lady asked the Pizza Hut employees about me and learned that I had been wandering the area for at least a week. She gave me some food and got me to climb into her car.
If you want a dog that is very good at minding her manners and giving lots of affection, I would be a great choice as a pet. However, I can also run and play with “the best of them” in a back yard. I enjoy the companionship of most other dogs and love being the fastest runner in the group and watching as the others try to catch up to me.
I am crate-trained, microchipped, and spayed and up to date on all my vaccines – ready to find my forever home. I weigh 46 pounds and may be about four years old.
