Dora's Story...
Dora and her littermates are all little Schnauzer/Chihuahua's. They were surrendered to the rescue when their owner wasn't able to find homes for them. They are very friendly and outgoing and very small! Right now they are 7 weeks old (September 13th). They will be spayed and neutered prior to coming to their new homes and Dora can come to her new home the weekend of October 11th! If you'd like to apply for one of these sweet babies please hurry :) They will find homes very quickly!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dora, a Washington Chihuahua/Miniature Schnauzer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Schnauzer for sale in Washington, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Schnauzer puppy from a breeder in Washington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Washington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Washington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Schnauzer breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Schnauzer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Washington paves the way for another one to be saved.
