Hunter's Story...
Hi my name is Hunter. I am always hunting a good toy that my brothers seem to hide. It is fun to walk around with a favorite toy that everyone else wants. I am a happy guy who loves to be held and cuddled. I love to give sweet puppy kisses because I love everyone. My foster mom likes the way I look like I am smiling and she loves to laugh at all my antics that my brothers and I do.

My mother is a border collie who was adopted from a shelter by my foster mom and to her surprise 10 puppies came along a week later.

By the time I find my forever family I will have had a round of puppy shots, wormed and been neutered. I am seven weeks old and cannot wait until I find my forever family. The veterinarian thinks I will be a medium size dog. I am hoping that they like to play and let on their lap and do fun things.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hunter, a Plainfield Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Plainfield, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
