Apple's Story...
Meet Apple! Apple is one of 6 puppies born at home after Momma was rescued. Apple is a spirited little gal. She is vocal (albeit how vocal can you be at 1.2lbs). She is the 2nd largest of the litter. She is very curious and has a big personality.
ue to the small size and age, we are asking applicants with young kids to please consider another dog in need. Applications can be completed at adogsday.org and are required before meeting the puppies. The adoption fee is $300 and includes vaccines, microchipping and spay/neuter certificate. No phone calls please. Applications can be completed at http://adogsday.org/Foster_or_Adopt.html

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Apple, a Chicago Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
