Bitzie's Story...
Bitzie
9 years old $50 adoption fee
Bitzie was signed over to our shelter when her previous owners were getting divorced and couldn’t keep her. Her previous owner did let us know that she has been housebroken, does well with other dogs and would be best in a home without children. Bitzie is an extremely friendly little girl who loves attention! She would love a home with lots of people around to love on her all day long. She is sure to make any family the perfect lap dog and she can’t wait to get there.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bitzie, a Fruit Heights Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu for sale in Fruit Heights, or seeking a Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Fruit Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fruit Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fruit Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu breeders who help with Lhasa Apso/Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fruit Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
