Willow's Story...
Willow is a wonderful female husky/corgi mix who is around five years old and weighs 40lbs. She was rescued from a rural shelter and is so happy to be enjoying the good life! She is currently staying in a foster home where she hangs out with a greyhound and a boston terrier. It took her a day or two to warm up to her new housemates, but now they are great friends! She is house trained, walks very well on a leash, and is kid friendly. While she doesn't live with cats we have tested her with them and she didn't seem too interested. Her adoption fee includes spay, microchipping, age appropriate vaccines, rabies, and she is up to date on heartworm prevention. She is being fostered in Huntsville, Alabama but we adopt to many different states. Please e-mail info@FORrescue.net to fill out an adoption application and start the process of bringing this sweet girl home!!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Willow, a Homewood Husky/Welsh Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Welsh Corgi for sale in Homewood, or seeking a Husky/Welsh Corgi dog from a breeder in Homewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Homewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Homewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Welsh Corgi breeders who help with Husky/Welsh Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Homewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
