ENZO (R)'s Story...
Enzo is a good looking, very sweet, playful boy. He knows sit and stay and he walks nicely on a leash. As you can see from his video he appears to like to play with other dogs. He is about 6 yrs old and weighs 53 lbs. Enzo was picked up as a stray on Sept. 10th. It appears Enzo’s owners did not give him prevention so sadly he has tested positive for heartworms and should be treated right away. With treatment Enzo should be good as new in no time. Talk to your vet about the best treatment. Keep in mind heartworms are NOT contagious from dog to dog. Enzo’s ID is 559648 and he is in run 109.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

ENZO (R), a Marietta Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
