Myrtle's Story...
Vaccaro is a female chocolate Lab mix who is about 8 weeks old and will be available for adoption 10/1/13. She does well with the people, kids and dogs she's met so far! The adoption fee which includes age appropriate vaccines, microchip, collar and leash is $350 and is due at time of adoption. We also require an additional check for $75 which we hold until proof of spay/neuter at 6 months is received.

All dogs are adopted out up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines. All dogs over 6 months in age are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Puppies under 6 months of age may be adopted out on a spay/neuter contract. If you are interested in meeting and possibly adopting this great dog, please email adopt.nolalabrescue@gmail.com to request an adoption application, complete (save it for your reference) and send to adopt.nolalabrescue@gmail.com.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not have a shelter where you can view our available dogs. All of our dogs live with foster families in private homes. You must complete an application and references will be checked by a volunteer before you can meet the dog.

Please visit our website: www.nolalabrescue.org to learn more about our adoption procedures.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Myrtle, a New Boston Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in New Boston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in New Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
