My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hank is Chorkie (Chihuahua/Yorkie mix.) He is 10 months old and weighs just 16 lbs. He was sold by his breeder as a designer dog for $250. The young man who initially purchased him had to go to jail. He asked a kind lady to keep Hank for him while she was in jail. She kept Hank for three months, but hadn't planned on keeping him forever. The jailed owner eventually told her "just to keep him." Since she couldn't do that, she surrendered him to ARF on 9/18/13. Hank is sweet, a little needy, has a docked tail, and is in the process of getting all his shots and being neutered on September 20th. He will be available for after adoption on September 21.

For more information about Hank, call his foster home at (828) 293-5629 or e-mail (828) 269-8322. Hank will be at ARF pet adoptions on Saturdays 1-3 until he is adopted.

For his $100 adoption fee Hank will be up-to-date on shots, have had a negative heartworm test, and have been neutered. Hank is housebroken.
