Zeus's Story...
In truth, we don't really know what breed this little guy is but we do know this. He was found in the middle of a busy road in Mississippi. Cars were dodging him but no one was stopping when a very kind lady stopped and scooped him up out of danger. for help on facebook, luckily our rescue partner in Mississippi saw the post and offered our help immediately. He is growing up fast and is now about 7 lbs so we think he will be a small dog. He is being fostered in Maine and is a ball of fur and tons of fun.

If you are interested in adopting one of our precious pups, please go to www.whiteriveranimalrescue.org and fill out an application. We are happy to answer questions about a dog you are interested in AFTER an application has been submitted,

NOTE: . WRAR will only adopt a puppy (under 5 months of age) to adopters that are either home ALL day long or can bring the puppy to work. There are NO exceptions to this. WRAR only adopts to adults over the age of 25.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeus, a New Boston Pomeranian puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in New Boston, or seeking a Pomeranian puppy from a breeder in New Boston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Boston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Boston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Boston paves the way for another one to be saved.
