Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption donation for all rescue boxers is $250 (adoption donation for boxer mixes and silver boxers may be lower, for puppies the donation may be more). Our adoption process consists of the following steps:
1. Completion of an adoption application. This allows us to learn more about your family and lifestyle and helps us to match a rescue boxer with your home. You will be notified by e-mail or phone when your application is received by Lone Star Boxer Rescue. If you have submitted an application and do not receive confirmation of receipt within 5 days, please contact us by phone at 281-944-5727 or e-mail us at email@example.com
2. Once the completed application is received and reviewed by our volunteers, you will be contacted for a phone interview and to discuss dogs currently available for adoption.
3. We also may conduct an in-person interview at your home before an adoption is approved. A non-refundable $25 application fee will be applied toward the adoption fee upon approval of your application.
4. After your application is approved, you and your family (including pets!) will be invited to meet rescue boxers.
If you have any questions about our organization or adoption process, please do not hesitate to contact us by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone 281-944-5727.
Thank You! Your message has been sent to Lone Star Boxer Rescue.
You'll receive a copy, too, at
to help you keep track of which pets you've inquired about, and which shelters and rescues you've emailed.
NOTE: Some shelters have physical locations you can visit; some of these shelters may only have pets for a limited time, so please do not wait for a reply—just go visit the shelter!
Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply. You can find information about the shelter or rescue group caring for this pet, and their adoption procedures,
on the pet's details page on Adopt-a-Pet.com.
