Lilly's Story...
Hi! My name is Lilly. I was brought to The Pet Rescue Center after my family could no longer care for me due to financial constraints. They loved me very much and gave me this opportunity to find a great new home. I am super sweet girl! I enjoy being cuddled and getting kisses and will paw at you when I want them. I get along with other dogs just fine, but also wouldn’t mind being your only pet. I really enjoy going to fun new places with you. I am looking for a family that wants a companion animal to take on walks with them and spend quality snuggle time with. I am great in the house and promise not to take up too much room. Please come visit me!

ADOPTION PROCESS:
Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email Casey Oliver at adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times.
All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adoptapet.html. Completed applications can be faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org
Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care.
The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Mission Viejo German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever for sale in Mission Viejo, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Mission Viejo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mission Viejo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mission Viejo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mission Viejo paves the way for another one to be saved.
