PICKLES's Story...
PICKLES likes to tell you his story, be petted and hugged, and generally loved on as much as possible. Once comfortable, he can be brushed, wiped down, and groomed. Very adaptable to new surroundings; fine with other cats; not too sure of dogs. Pickles was pulled from the OC Shelter after spending 3 1/2 months in the outside Showcase 1. Pickles is a five year old, slim-built 8 lb. domestic short hair black cat. Fully vetted, neutered, micro-chip, FIV/FELV negative. Will easily adapt to a forever home. Adoption donation fee is $100. Call 714-878-1371 for appointment; applications on the store cart outside Cat Adoption Center at Petsmart Brea.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

PICKLES, a Brea Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Brea, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brea.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brea already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brea breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brea paves the way for another one to be saved.
