Sando's Story...
Hi my name is Sando, short for Sandoval . I am named after a great third base baseball player because I got game. Give me a ball and I am on it. My brothers do not have a chance to get to it first. We have a good time making up our own little ball games. Like my namesake I grin and am very happy. Oh and I do love to be held and cuddled too. My mother is a border collie who was adopted from a shelter by my foster mom and to her surprise a week later we arrived, all ten of us. I am seven week old and by the time I find my forever family I will have had a round of puppy shots, wormed and been neutered. My Foster mom thinks I will be a medium size dog. I am looking for some folks who will be my forever family and love me for a long time as I have lots of love to give.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sando, a Allentown Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Allentown, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Allentown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Allentown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Allentown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Allentown paves the way for another one to be saved.
